Have YOU chosen life?  Are you SURE you’re on the right track?

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. ” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

If you are visiting this website and have not yet made the choice to follow the LORD God of Israel, as Moses instructed the children of Israel in this passage, we encourage you to consider the words above. Your life path can only go in two directions: eternal life, or death (the grave). Every choice you make affects your destiny; not only here on earth, but also your eternal future in the life to come. Have you been investing into that life to come, or will you be homeless in the next life?

Because of His holiness, God has given us commandments to abide by. Since no person can follow the commandments of the Bible perfectly, all are therefore guilty of falling short of God’s glory (Psalm 14:2-3) and are deserving of punishment for not “passing the test” of God’s ways. The Torah (“instructions”) always pointed to the need for faith in HIS ability to cleanse us for our shortcomings. It also further hints to us that a new covenant would come, UNLIKE the old covenant which the people of Israel could not keep (Jeremiah 31:31). It speaks that the Messiah would be revealed to us (Jeremiah 29).

The new covenant came into effect, indeed, through the life and sacrifice of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. While over the course of the last two millenia Jesus has mostly been portrayed as a “Christian/Catholic” Messiah-figure, many of the teachings of the last centuries wrongly ignored the Jewish heritage of Jesus. Today many Jewish people are coming to realize that Yeshua (his original Hebrew name), is the true Jewish Mashiach, prophesied in the Law and the Prophets, that came first to the Jew, and also for the nations. He is our Messiah indeed — His name itself means “salvation”. He loves Israel and the Jewish people more than anyone can imagine. He also loves the nations that would join themselves together with Israel in worshipping the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Through faith in Him, we can be forgiven and cleansed of our sins, and be made into a new creation with a new heart that wants to follow Adonai as His child (Ezekiel 36:26).

What is your choice? Have you accepted Yeshua’s payment for your guilt (not that you are guilty according to this world’s standards, but according to God’s holy standard)? Have you chosen to follow Him, and receive His life? Ask Him today to forgive you, cleanse you, and put His Spirit within you. Join a congregation of Jewish believers in the Messiah (a “messianic” congregation), so you can walk together with God, with Jewish friends and family by your side.  If you are not Jewish, you can also attend a church that teaches the Bible. We can recommend one in your area.

Please e-mail us if you have decided to follow Yeshua (Jesus), so we can pray with you and direct you on the walk of life you have just chosen.
