  Dan David (born December 28, 1977,) is a Ukrainian Canadian Rock violinist (with a Classical and Celtic background) paving his way to a new style of music that is largely appreciated by listeners in North America and around the World. While playing the violin since the age of 7 and later studying under Scholarship at McGill Faculty of Music where he also played as soloist for the McGill Chamber Orchestra and often performed at prestigious sold out concert halls around Montreal and the West Island, Dan David's first real experience of professional music success and fame happened in the summer of 2000 when Persian Pop Diva

made her comeback to singing after 20 years of being banned from singing in her home country. Her first concert took place in Toronto at the Air Canada Center where over 13,000 fans came excited to celebrate her comeback. Dan's violin playing that was featured for this 3 hour concert was televised and released on DVD and has touched the listeners with his unique feel of playing. As a songwriter (a direction Dan pursued since the young age of 18) he has been offered major publishing deals with BMG music in 1999 (before its merger with Sony) which he did not sign back then. He started his involvement in film composition, recording and as his day job he started teaching the violin. Seeing the quick success he experienced in his first year of teaching, Dan knew his methods were different and made learning easier for his students. Combining a unique approach of seeing from the student perspective and covering key details that made all the difference in their progress, Dan took on creating [Violin Made Easy], a method book with 56 pages and a play along CD. The Right Place was released. Local fans loved the new message of searching for the Right Place along with Celtic flavored songs like Strolling for a Cat and Dive Deeper. With Numerous Cover story press releases such as the Markham Sun, Economist, The Liberal, and with radio and TV appearances, fans awaited the new album impatiently. It took more time than expected, and 2006 did not yet see the release on his new Album. With many concert dates picking up since February 2007 and some touring across Ontario, the album was much in demand. His fan base grew much stronger. Also, while often performing as an acoustic act with Violin, Guitars and vocals, Dan has also established the Dan David Band, a modern new Rock band with Celtic influences led on vocals by actor / singer [David J]. His new CD would feature both Acoustic songs that have a special healing effect on the listeners, and full band songs that empower listeners greatly (see his

Dan David made History at the Canadian Legendary Fiddle contest, in Shelburne, where fiddle legends such as [Graham Townsend] competed for years. In 2007, a new category was introduced to the contest, where over 1000 fiddle music listeners travel to see the event. It was the Gospel class. Dan was the first person to open the new Category for the first time in 57 years. Along with his band, Dan David played for the audience of the Smash Hit TV show Are you smarter than a Canadian 5th Grader. Dan David has appeared on Daystar Television in 2008, playing for an expected audience of over 100 Millions and joined the amazing and famous singer Marty Goetz for a song, Live in concert in the U.S..
