1. Using their unique and supernatural personal story as a model, Dan and Melissa relate the Biblical story of Ruth and Boaz, teaching interactive roles of Jew and non-Jew in G-d’s Kingdom and in these prophetic days.
2. In sharing Dan’s supernatural testimony of His encounter with Yeshua, the Living Messiah, Dan and Melissa share valuable insights on how to share Yeshua with the Jewish People.
3. Dan and Melissa seek to lift up G-d’s word and inspire others to walk in obedience to the commandments of Adonai, experiencing His abundant life, joy and blessing in return.
As a concert unfolds, Dan and Melissa will share original songs, interspersed with scriptural meditations, often leading to prophetic ministry and a “new song” arising for the edification of each gathering.
1. What are Messianic believers?
Messianic believers are Jewish and non-Jewish people that live out a powerful reality: that Yeshua of Nazereth (known more commonly as Jesus) is the Messiah of Israel. Many delight in being part of the growing Messianic Jewish movement across the world. Jews and Non-Jews have been a part of this movement since Yeshua Himself proclaimed His Kingdom in the first century, and it has grown much since then! Yeshua brings God's salvation to both Jew and Gentile as promised by the Tanakh and by His words in the New Covenant (B'rit Chadasha).
2. Does Dan David Music endorse the use of the Sacred Name of G-d?
Dan and Melissa travel widely and reach a large spectrum of Messiah's body, including pro-Israel churches, and Messianic congregations. We have found within this spectrum differing opinions on the use of the Sacred Name, commonly known in Judaism as the Tetragrammation. While our most current CD, "Sojourn," uses the Name, we have received feedback from respected elders in the Messianic movement that this is generally not accepted in the Messianic movement at large. Out of respect for these friends, we do not use the Name in concert settings, or on television, and will instead use terms such as "Adonai". In the spirit of Romans 14:19, we at all times seek to be sensitive to each congregation we visit.
3. I am a congregational leader, and our congregation would like to have Dan and Melissa for a concert. Is there a fee?
In the past, Dan David charged a set fee of $1500 for a concert, but most smaller congregations were not able to bring Dan in on that basis.
Today, the Davids work on a freewill offering basis to support all aspects of the ministry.
The Davids are in full-time ministry, working on music and outreach projects that take time and resources to release, as well as ministering one-on-one to both believers and unbelievers. When they minister at a congregation, your cheerful support, as led by the Holy Spirit , enables them to continue in this work. Generous support also enables them to expand their reach into their community, country, and beyond.
In return, beyond the music and testimonies edifying your congregation and touching the people of God, when sowing into their ministry you are sowing into fruitful soil, and as the word of the Lord says, "Those who bless you will be blessed." (B'resheet/Genesis 12:3)
The Davids desire to reflect the light of Messiah to reach the house of Israel, as commanded by the Word,"The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few." (Mattityahu/Matthew 9:37). Thank you for sowing into this ministry.
